Bella Poarch
Bella Poarch was born in the Philippines on February 9, 1997 to her natural Filipino parents. Her grandmother grew up in areas of slums for three years until she turned 3 years old. She was then adopted. The parents she adopted are American white who has military experience as well as her mother who is Filipino. The woman claims she and her brother adopted as infants, were subject to abuse until they were drafted. Her family and she moved to Texas at the age of thirteen because her father was undergoing bypass surgery. They stayed for a few days living in San Francisco with her aunt. She says the physical violence subsided after a short time, however, she had to deal with the psychological abuse her father inflicted on her. Poarch became a part of in the United States Navy at age 18. Poarch started her TikTok page in April of 2020. In less than 8 months, she had amassed nearly 40 million followers. Poarch posted a range of videos, but her one that went on to become most popular was for Millie B's viral hit Soph Aspin Send. She lip-synced and jumped rhythmically to the beat in a zoomed out video. In order to capitalize on the popularity she gained following her joining TikTok in December of 2016, Poarch set up YouTube as well as Twitter profiles. The adulation of Poarch's growing fame reached its peak in December 2020. It was reported that she attracted the attention of two major professional Esports groups. FaZe Clan (100 Thieves) and 100 Thieves wanted to hire her to write videos for their respective brands.
